We read the stories, we hear the stereotypes, but do young men in the Australia really offer the community anything positive?
Here at Top Blokes Foundation, we young men all have the potential to be assets to the community, not liabilities. We are a not-for-profit organisation that challenges, educates, guides and empowers young men to be the best person they can be.
We currently have 3 programs which we use to do this:
• Junior Top Blokes: A mentoring based program run in schools to curb the trend of young men partaking in risk taking behaviours
• Building Blokes: A community based program to encourage young men to get actively involved in helping the community
• Suicide Intervention: A pilot program, still in the development stages, to deliver skilled based suicide intervention training to young people
